New gold ties

Tied up two different ones in the gold

Ones on the left are redman heads with gold bottom with a tap of black on top and black mallard for the tail

The ones on the right are ballheads that I flattened into pill heads painted gold and black glitter coat, maribou tail and chenille body and a strip of gold mylar on each side

Like the head color! Gold/black just seems to go together, nice jigs.

I really like the flash in that gold. What brand/color is it and is it EZ to apply?

Hawn it's Jacquards Pearl Ex powdered pigment

I bought the System II package of 12 colors, I mix 2 parts clear to 1 part Jacquards. It's easy to apply but you do have to keep it stirred up. I haven't tried it in a fluid bed yet.

If you look in the paint shop - the sticky at top about colors I have some of the colors of the Jacquards posted.
