I just couldn't resist, I got the idea as I orgnized my new stuff (Thanks Toadfrog) and I thought about other patterns and then I saw my brown with red flake jig head and I had a brown hackle feather put aside because it had this red tint and I thought, why not. I used a 1/16 head and tied in some natural bucktail and then tied the tip of the brown feather in. Instaed of usng cheille I though a hares ear dubbing would be bette and so that is the route I went and then I palmered the hackle up to the collar but I didn't like it so I decided to leave out the last wrap and instead finish off the collar by whip finishing with the dubbing. Some may not like I left the collar wrap out but I thought it was a bit big and I like the was the collar came out with the dubbing, let me hear your thoughts.
