Nail foil

Guys on TU are doing some interesting stuff with foil. I don't think the heat transfer stuff will work for the small stuff. There are a few videos on YouTube for the saltwater stuff. Found this vid related to fingernails but can be applicable for ultra lite blades and the heads themselves. almost like painting holograph...

Ordered the adhesive and a bunch rolls from fleabay (I know something else on the list - LF is rolling her eyes..). Got the heat transfer stuff but no adhesive - jumped the gun - should have waited to see the fingernail thing...

I've seen some video's of foil wrapping on cranks & jerk baits that looks awesome. They have foil wraps for rod building too, but never tried it.

I tried the fingernail stuff on jig heads... all I can say is if you have the patience of a saint and the moon and starts are in synch with your bio-rythms, you may be happy with the results.Admittedly, I tried it on 1/32 and 1/16oz jigs as well as some crank baits and jigging spoons. Results were good on larger baits, but the jig heads well less than desirable.
