Looking good! I was using a 3700 Plano box and ran out of room but something like this would be great for me as a travel kit holder. How do you like that UTC thread? I have never used it and prefer Uni Thread but have been thinking about giving UTC a try.

Purple thread is mighty handy when tying hair jigs for walleye.
The spools were purchased at a flea market. I believe that I paid 60 cents for the five 50-yard spools of old Gudebrod Gude-Wind (Nylon 00) rod winding thread.

Good idea! Went to Wally World yesterday and they offered a 60 spool. Way to many for me.
