I decided to add some more spider ties to my collection after I tank tested the other ones, the little legs really vibrate, much more than I would have imagined so I made more. These are a little different as I added a row, the top jig is a 3/32oz walleye head painted brown. I tied in a sculpin brown UV2 rabbit strip along with some gold flash for the tail and then tied in orange bio silk in 2 spots along the hook shank for the appendages and finished by palmering large brown chenille for the body. The bottom jig is a 3/32oz walleye head painted black with white bucktail and silver flash serving as the tail. I tied in white bio silk in 2 different spots along the hook shank for the appendages and finished the jig off by palmering black ultra chenille for the body. I used 2 different tails and chenilles to make the same style jigs but with different profiles, the brown has large chenille and a bulkier tail for a more aggressive presentation while the black makes use of bucktail and ultra chenille for a more slender profile in ultra finesse situations.
