Monster Bluefish Inline

Just got the word lastnight that me,my brother in law and two nephews are booking a charter Bluefish trip in a month.Never did that before.Toothy creatures.I loaded up my big Diawa spinning reel and threw it on a Med Heavy 6' Ugley Stik and put on some 50 lb. braid.Figured I needed something "metal" for bait so I made this guy.It measures almost 7 inches and weighs 4 oz.#8 fluted nickel blade.Can't wait to chuck it,lol.

You should be able to chuck that thing 150 -200 yds easy. I hope you got enough line on the reel.

Blues like just about anything that moves here in Maine. I normally use big Rebel poppers and troll with 7" Rapala's. When you cast that az, try not to knock them out before they get a chance to bite it!
