Figured I would mini size Reds wool jigs. Being an ice fisherman I have really grown fond of small baits. When I was growing up we were taught bigger the bait the bigger the fish. While that may be true in some cases it sure is not right 100% of the time.
I have posted before about catching large fish on the teeney weinies as I like to call them. Even my favorite crankbaits are something any bass fisherman would laugh at. What I am trying to imitate here is a young of the year shad. The size that usually shows up around the lights the first couple night trips.
Well anyway here is what I came up with these are tied a # 8 hook but can't tell you weight cause it was cast in a custom mold.
