I didn't know what else to call these. ;)

Tied with eyelash yarn and craft fur, I'll fish these for just about anything. Bass will be included.

I'm hoping for pleasant surprises. Used 1/8-oz. ball head jigs with #2 hooks.

The flo. green yarn is a new-to-me yarn called LashMax. Its color is called "kryptonite". I think that I like it and hope that a fish will too. :)

About as "electric" as it gets. I like em.
White n red HF paint mix?
Does yarn have good action? Seems like it's absorbency would weight it from free movement but I imagine it's as tough as all get out.

LP,

Yes to both of your questions.

I enjoy mixing my own paints. If I can mix something close enough to what I'd like to have, then that's good enough for me. ;)

Yarn moves freely. But, just like hair, it can be tied on too densely or too bulky which can restrict movement somewhat. I have a tendency to use thinner materials as I move away from the jig's head toward the bend of the hook. I use thicker yarn at the head for a good profile :bigfish: and thinner yarn by itself or combined with craft fur as a tail. This portion of the jig should produce the most action upon retrieve.
