Haven't been doing much tying beyond replenishing what I already have, but last night I was inspired to try something new. I've been catching a lot of yellow perch, but also a large trout here and there. There's also giant bass (both largemouth and smallmouth) in the area so I thought I'd tie something to simulate a crawdad or small perch.
I had half an olive/rust colored zonker, so I decided to adapt a streamer called Barr's Meat Whistle to the jig. Haven't tried these out yet, but they look fishy!
