How long is your measuring board? I would guess that tested your light line that you like to use.

CPR mel on this one - too skinny.

Board is 19" and was using Izorline XXX 2lb test. Thought the fish would have cut the line.. Very impressed with this mono.

Yep - green carp is better than nothing

With the lake record bass over 18lbs they are usually a lot fatter. That one must have spawned recently and needs some fattening up. It's still a nice one though. Not bad for an accidental catch. Maybe you should actually try for them just for fun.

Bite your tongue JJ. There are bunches of post spawn bass being caught right now. Seen some rescent pics of some fatties as well.
