Another slow day... My wife bought me some cool hardware for birthday, so we went out for a late afternoon and evening fish.
Trolled 30-45 fow and saw lots of action on the chart, but no takers. Made a pass in 14-20 on east end. Zip. Tried a sunken boat. Nada. Even went radical and made a shallow pass from behind island along the tires. Zilch.
Oh well. I sure hope it picks up soon. My pops is flying out from Colorado at the end of the week and has been itchin to hook into some of the big 'gills we have.
