Lake Perris 05/09/10

Put in some work on Lake Perris this Sunday. 24 Bluegill and Redear 8”+. Was using a 1/32nd football jig/half crawler for the RE. BG were caught on a 1/32nd silver minnow chub and Belly spinner version.

Went out the day before with mealworm and the boyz and we kept 74 RE, BG, and 1 crappie. Me and mealworm used the same pattern and did the most damage.

Forgot to mention 3 important things;
Fishing with a good friend - Tu - (he got the cleaning honors).
We used jigs with mealworms too.
And we released a lot of fish.

It’ just starting for Lake Perris – water has been staying in the upper 60s. This weekend should be hot…
