Our crawfish are red here. Heres what I came up with for a buddy of mine. Also shot some lizards this color.

Hey Russ would 7.5" lizards be too big for you? Should have left overs.

I've had that mold ever since it came out and I'm telling you what . I love fishing those things . They do very well for me . It's best to just shoot up bags of claws ahead of time . I use a warming board to spread them on if they have been made for a long time . Sort of like something you would put loaves of bread on to keep it warm . low temp eletrical unit I picked up for a dollar at a junk store . Never had claws that didn't stick properly .

Your craws are RED LIKE THAT straight out of the water down there???????? Up here, they turn red after they've been in a pot of boiling water (with Old Bay, onion and lemon wedges) for a minute or 2. :) Live they are an olive/green/brown/tan color....... and hibenating in the mud right now. :P

I would take a few 'off shoots' of both the craws and lizzards if it is in the budget. By gammit - don't give me too sweet a deal tho!!! :dodgy: Pay back........ The lizzy's i might cut in 2 for SMB, (have a vision) double duty once again! That liz pour looks very similar to the Berkley Power Bait from a few years back. Had a lake where my wife insisted that an all black Berkley lizzy out-caught ANY other bait for largemouth. She called it her 'Pretty" lure. A Kalins 5" grub in northern blugill was a close 2nd.

Yep they look more like the first pic. Deep red with bigger ones Deepening to blackish. Now the lil craws you find digging mounds in the yard are more brown and may get a lil blue on them.
