Got messing around with some small heads in high hopes of finding some BG's, this is a 1/64, tried to put an elk hair caddis pattern on a jig. Actually pretty simple tie...

Brown thread
Black silicone skirt material for legs
Deer belly hair (not elk, i use this for spinning hair)

I changed the orig pattern some by putting the legs on because it had a very "hopperish" look to it. Will be giving it a test run this weekend if mother nature co-operates.

 Just got to thinking... an all black version of this would make a decent cricket. Black spinning hair goes on my wish list....... May just have to give it a try with some hair from the base of a black buck tail, not as good as belly hair but does flair.
