I tried a smaller jig

Well I tried to see how small I could go to actually tie a jig that at least looked fishable. This is a 1/48oz, still big compared to some here but really small for me. The jig is a minnow head painted black, I tied in white grizzly hackle and silver flash for the tail and then tied in flathead minnow chenille for the body. Surprisingly it wasn't as bad as I thought but the pattern was a simple one to start.

There ya go buddy!!!!!!!!!! Nice proportions and a nice clean tie. I think the biggest problem people have with tying small jigs they overload them with material, yours balances out just right!!

Thanks all, I'm trying and after a few of these I may get the confidence to do a 1/24oz but I don't think it will happen too soon but I learned a lot being here and for that I say thank you, my tying has really improved from when I joined and that wasn't too long ago!!
