Tied these up for while the crappie are still in Skinny water...

The one on the left is for when they move to the timber.
Here's my box for next Friday...

The colors are actually Fl. Orange (the middle set is Polar Shrimp which is a bit pink), my camera makes them all look pink'ish. UGH!!

:icon14::icon14: Those will definitely get the attention of some Slabbers! Love the bright colors! I need to pick up some more bright colored materials. I want to tie up some jigs with that Fl. orange and pink. Both are colors i have never fished with until this year but now I think every jig box should have some :D

Question for ya.

Is that bubble wrap you use in your jig box?

Yes the wind in East Texas has been BRUTAL this year. In the 8 years that I have been here this has been the windyest year that I can remember. Our lake being so shallow is like a boiling kettle. Hard to control my little boat and think that it is one of the reasons that the crappies are having a hard time spawning.

Pepop get the fryer ready you are going to have a fish fry for sure. Nice ties.

Vern It's been tough. No secret Have to go out there and just fish each and every tree that you can. This year its a numbers game. If the wind dies down and the fronts don't keep coming thur every three days the fishing will be good. Other wise it is a nightmare out on that windy lake.
