How about a Sand Eel Challenge ??

Of course I have been tying them up.It's only my pattern though.I would like to see some of my fellow tyers try one.I have some 1/2 oz. and some 3/8 oz. that I did today.Might have to go down to 1/4 oz. to make more realistic.I think that any bass would tear them up.So,you won't be tying for nothing.

Very nice.Marabou does'nt last long with them toothy fish though.You'll get a couple though.Better get you some bucktail and start tying up things that look like Bunker,spearing and sand eels for your future trips Doc.

Here's a 3/8 oz. head.Perfect size for this skinny little bait.Painted watermelon overall with a silver/bronze bottom.Tail is olive bucktail upper and Fl. yellow lower with 4 strands of chartruese pearl flash down the side.

Last one !This is 3/8 with olive and tan bucktail and red pearl flash.It's from further at the bottom of the bucktail and the hair is getting too thick to lay down as I like it.Maybe after a couple of fish,lol.

Last one,I promise,lol.1/4 oz. watermelon and yellow head,tan and olive bucktail.Will use these in the river also.

Ok,last one for sure.This is for Doc,lol.Same watermelon and yellow head with tan bucktail on top and yellow on the bottom.He's a fancy sand eel,lol.1/4 oz.

24 hours worth of sand eels.10 in all with the same amount of teasers.I'M DONE !!
