I am from central MS.  I tie flies and am getting into jigs.  I live on the reservoir,  which has a good crappie population.  Mostly I fish from a kayak.  Good forum!

Welcome on board from NW Ohio! Tied flies and jigs go hand in hand, they cross over pretty easily. On occasion i will throw flies on my spin tackle (assisted by a float) and even throw some lightweight jigs on the fly rod.
