Hairy B's which is short for bucktails!! These are what I did just messing around today and I have a few hackle feathers that I wanted to use up so ere is what came out of it. The both of these are 1/16oz ball jigs, the top jig is paintd in a custom color I call mirror ball as it has silver glitter, firecracker glitter an a little gold glitter in clear with HF black. That jig has a body of silver flash with black and chartreuse bucktail and finished off with 2 hackle feathers. The bottom jig is dark watermelon and has gold flash with a custom dyed color of bucktail called moss green or the body andis finished with a collar of two hackle feathers.

Nice SJ - Really like that top paint job!!! Might take some of the custom black and irridescent silver mix I did and add the firecracker and the gold. Doesn't look like you used to much black just enough to darken it???

Thanks guys!!! FM, I'll try to get a better pic of it by doing a larger jig head or something, I'm really happy with it and it got that way from tweaking it as it started out as just black and silver. I found that I added a tad bit much of the silver because I went with 1 tbs of black 1 tbs of clear and 2 tbs silver glitter which was a bit too much so I added another 2 tsp of black, and then decided to give it some shine so then it was 2 tsp of firecracker glitter, 1 tst of gold glitter and then 2 tsp clear. I found that you can add 1 tsp at a time of black to darken it if is too much glitter, and if you make it too dark add another tsp of glitter matched with clear, if you don't use the clear for some reson it comes out with too much glitter.

Thanks SJ - Yeah I've messed up with the glitter more than once and had really bumpy heads. I've been using Attica's 1/4 tsp as a mix level that way if it turns out bad I've saved a little powder for something else.
