Green Yarn for Bass

I plan to try these in situations where I'd normally reach for a soft plastic in watermelon red flake or green pumpkin color.



Tied on a 1/8-ounce ball head with a #2 round bend hook. No trailer is necessary.

The yarn stays pretty full, but does have good action. I've tied it on full so that it creates a large profile for bass. I add a bit of craft fur for a tail which provides additional action to the bait.

Could tie it with less material for more action and smaller profile for other fish species.

Most "big box" fabric and craft stores carry eyelash yarn.
