Another great site with lots of folks to help is www.rodbuildingforum.com - they do alot of fly rods but spinning and casting are also done. I've always thought about building rods but just too damned chicken!!!!!!!!!!LOL Besides I've got enough hobbies with wire forming, jigmaking and fly tying!!!!!! any more and I might get shot!!!!!!

Thanks for the links. I just won two bamboo fly rods on ebay and plan to restore them. Been wanting a bamboo fly rod a long time and can't wait to get my hands on these rods!! LOL the wife said she has never seen me so excited..
