Dang that jig head is one of my favorites and a bit of a secret weapon in black and chartreuse. In a smaller size in a #6 or #8 hook. It's great to tie a flash Duck on.don't sell this one short. Nice tie tell the wife to get the fry pan ready.

That´s a good looking tie for sure!

I´ve never fished that head shape. I like its look, but can I ask how it differs from a regular ball head with respect to its movement or balance?

Buncho it has a faster rate of fall or drop because of the shape of its head. It does dart and the smaller sizes will act like a darting baitfish. The ball head have a bit more resistance and don't have the ability to dart. That is the difference in the two heads. Put simple the Shad Dart has more action in the water over the ball head.

Agree with RM....much faster rate. Overall longer profile. I used a 1/32 for gills and is great. Pic is 1/16.
