Fran Betters vise - maybe

I think this might be an early Fran Betters - not sure. Hope somebody can comment on this one... The base is not made for this vise. The bottom of the stem is threaded.

Hard to tell much about the jaws from that photo. Look similar to me at a distance.

Configuration is very similar...
