Finally built the fluid beds, after reading some of the posts about the top cup screwing into the bottom for quick changes I got all the stuff and built two 2" beds.

Here was my pattern which I won from an old fishing board - I tried this one and had a lot of air flow problems so bought the pieces so the powder cups could screw into the bases

Air spouts 3/16" brass from Home Depot

Tile pieces from Home Depot or you can use plexiglass- use some sandpaper to scatch the surface where the bottom cup will sit

I had wondered about what kind of adhesive and Cadman's instructions were for one kind but this is the same thing different brand - you don't need a caulking gun get the squeeze tube of it

Bottom Cups

Top cups - Make sure you get cups with a nice flat bottom so you have a surface to attach the mesh screening

Bottom cups with holes drilled and air stems inserted but no adhesive yet

Stems sealed inside and out

Bottom Cup with adhesive pressed onto the tile - I used a wet finger to make a nice bevel to the adhesive inside and out

Finished Beds, then showing them weighted down to cure

Mesh I got from one of the guys - I am trying to get the matching stuff from McMaster Carr but the stuff I ordered was wrong and sent it back. gonna keep looking

Using the same adhesive as above -run a bead of it around the base of the cup and attach the mesh, I put mine on an old cookie sheet and weighted them to cure. Heres the finished cup with mesh attached - if you look at the top of the cup this is what you want the base to look like

I let mine cure for a few days before using them.

Doc - No problems at all so far!!!!! Main thing is not get antsy and try to use them too soon, let them cure good with the weight on top of them. I think even if it came off, as long as it wasn't torn up, you could just scrape the old stuff off the edge and re-apply. We'll see what happens.

Led - Trying to remember all the links and other stuff I had posted about LOL I'll have to wait until I get home to re-post the links for the two mold sites.

When the site came back up last night and I saw the date it went back to - all I could think of was I hope all our powder wants were printed out before the site went down!!!!!!!!
