Bunch of folks have been sending me flank feathers and this is the first batch this year.  Lemon barred, barred wood duck and gadwall

The mallard flank feathers were cleaned and stayed soaking.  I just got 3 new dyes - Blue Dunn, Slate Dunn and Olive.  I dyed up some Blue Dunn and Olive

Time to start tying some float n flies. Crappie, bass and gills have been eating them up the last couple weeks. Fishing 1/64 chubs on #8 lil nasty's with a weighted float just above brush piles. Pink on cloudy days and chartreuse on sunny days are working great. Starting to get cold so fish are getting ready for winter, 50-60 fish in 2-3 hours, no giants yet but a lot of fun.

I've got one more to try the Slate Dunn - only problem with Anglers Workshop is they don't have a color chart!!! I think??!!! their Fly Dye is just Fly Dye made by Orco and bought in bulk - I'm going to check and see if any of the weird colors match. Probably do it tonight
