We here on Caddo are having our problems with crappie fishing this fall. The weather this year has been extremely above average temps. and below average rain fall. Last week the rain started but the temps are still high. Good for the garden bad for fishing. Slow is the term most of the old timers are using. Mr. Lewis is even having his trouble finding fish. When that happens it's tough fishing. We need cooler weather and not so much rain for a week or so. Bad part is that both go hand in hand cold fronts and cooler weather follows rain and thunderstorms.

I will keep you updated on crappie fishing here in Deep East Texas.

Hope things work out better for you. Fishing is supposedly done here but the weather so far this week has been in the low 60's and they're talking about 70+ tomorrow. Might take off early and give it a shot.

Warm here too. Fall walleye fishing has been a little late to start but is picking up now. Water temps are really warm still. Last year, there were a couple nutty ice guys in the NE of the state who got out walking on water a week before Thanksgiving. They were over some shallow water, but it was still amazing. Not going to come anywhere close to that this year!

Fish are there..... somewhere. They still gotta eat. I wish you luck finding them.
