experimenting with peacock herl

I have some neighbors that raise peacoks . When they molt the feathers are blowing all over the field . may be able to get those and share with you'all . The jig looks good and hurl has a nice action in the water.

Thanks, I would try to tie with some of those..... lol

Looks nice, do you get better results with a thin skirt/tail? Because I've noticed everyone seems to have there own preference for thickness.

I have had success either way, think it's more a personal preference. :jig:

CH.. If you find the natural herl doesn't hold up well, try some of the Pseudo stuff..it's pretty tuff..
