Got a chance to try some of the Netcraft Disco paint in my homemade fluid bed and can say it works better just out of the jar. Pretty much what happens is the the clear paint floats up and the glitter stays near the bottom so when you dunk-n-swirl the jig it just has a clear coat only on it with very little glitter.
