Here's a beauty I just built for client in NC...it is a St.Croix Flyrod...5wt.9ft...with a Gaboon Viper Handle...it is awesome !!

I like, how well does snake skin hold up to constant use.

That snakeskin is coated with two coats of epoxy and you can treat it like a regular rod...no special treatment needed...
