Wow, that's dinner for two! Props for selective harvest. Was there a hot jig pattern, tekneek, or holding structure that day?

1/8 oz pill head spin jig,(jacob's mold's),arkie sexy tail shad,Black/chart,slow rolling through tree top's in 20' of water in front of spawning coves. wt 50 deg,Back in its hay day crappie fishing would equal the big 4 in Mississippi. The game and fish introduced the blue herring shad they go deep in the winter and summer and have a huge spawn. The fish crappie/walleye stay deep except during the short spawn. They added hybrid striped bass to cut down on the shad they did and do the job but(blue herring) spawn during the crappie spawn the hybrid are shallow after the shad and eat the crappie fry or anything that gets in their way.Game and fish have stopped adding hybrid's which is helping fishing.

Yep seems like they always try adding this or that and then it's worst off than leaving it alone. I haven't seen one successful introduction of one species and then they and counter it with a different species then it all sorts of messed up. When they gonna learn?
Thanks for the info.
