Complex Twist Bugger tied on a TMC 9395 size 4. Two-toned marabou tail with some gold and red Flashabou. Complex twist is a brown schlappen, a dirty yellow schlappen, and some UV Copper Polar Flash. Olive Brown Ice dub for the veil.

Frankly, when I tie a bugger for browns (which I do a lot) I use half a soft hackle. Or polar flash. Maybe half a hackle and polar chenille tied in together. Less is more.

I`m sure that`s a great streamer for all kind of bass though. Maybe I just got you wrong with the "brown trout colors"?

Bucho, I was trying to imitate a Brown Trout.

I don't know when/if I'll be able to try one of these for a Brown. But, the Smallies and Largemouths around here should inhale that thing!
