I was looking up articulated jigs online, and I came across a fly pattern called the circus peanut. It's basically two wooly buggers attached together by a loop of mono. The original pattern uses dumbbell eyes, so I figured it would also work on a jig head. I had all the materials on hand, so I decided to give it a shot.

The hooks are size 2 so the whole thing is a little over 3" long, but I'm hoping it will work on bass and trout.
