chub head?? wiggle eye

I think Sonny called this a chub head. I put some wiggle eyes on and tied it up with some Kactus chenille

Thanks Stump - the more I look at it the more I think I need to paint up some blades to match the head color or maybe the fish will think the blade is minnows chasing it

Awesome jig!!! Don't paint the blade, that cactus chenille is bright and the nickle blade spinning is going to reflect the cactus chenille and it will make for some serious flash!!!! If you look at the pic it already is reflecting the cactus chenille, so leave it like that and you got a fantastic jig!!

I've fooled lots of MS crappie on a chartreuse chub head jig with a belly spinner. Nice job.

Thanks Scott - I have an extra bag of jigs Sonny sent me in a trade we did and I think they'res some more in it. Gotta check cause I do like them

I pour the round heads, walleye heads, and chub heads and the chubs are by far my favorites.

I've got round heads, minnow heads, pony, horse head, bullet (but not in the small size) and been pouring alot of the redman style heads. Is your chub mold a custom???

No, it's the Do-It chub head mold that pours 1/32 up to 1/4 or so.
