Filled another spot. I started tyeing this jig in 1965, and have probably caught more fish on this jig than all the others combined. It will catch fish any time of the year, and in any body of water in the country. Some guy over on CDC discovered and named this jig about 5 years ago:P.

Christmas comes early! This is one i have yet to try... need to tie a few and give it an honest chance.

"......discovered and named this jig about 5 years ago......." you only had a 40 year head start but doubt he would ever agree. ;)

Heck fire that color combo has been around for 50 or more years . It is called a Christmas Tree . The only difference is at that time they were mostly done on ball heads . The fact is they do catch fish year around .

That's my favorite color combo for my local lake. Sometimes it's hard to find the Kelly Green chenille though.

ScottV Robert at Crazy Angler sells it by the skein. I bought a skein about 3 months ago. And yes Toadfrog you are right it has been around since Hector last had pups. A classic and one that is a staple in my jig box. Like I have said many time in many places every thing old is new again.
