Hit the flea market today and a guy who's been coming had one chinchilla left so I picked it up

Beautiful fur. That tan and gray looks like natural bait fish. Are you going to dye it at all?

The guy just started showing up this year and he has some really nice furs! This was the last one so I figured what the heck.

Not sure if I'm going to dye any of it or not. With all the dyed fur I have I'm thinking leaving it natural. I like how he has them really squared off gonna make slicing them up really easy. If he comes back with any more I may pick up a couple more.

Wow that's nice looking. Looks like the hair is really fine and should flow well.

Looks like a thin supple hide & some nice crosscut potential. Bit long for trout? Is the fur shiny?

Has a tiny bit of sheen to it, but on a 1/64th to a 1/32nd with size 10 hook to a 4 should cover even trout - although the pond I fish I haven't seen a trout this year. Water has been real low all year.

Natural on that un would look good. You can always cut it in half and dye it later....
