Well I hit the water today with a friend, the day stayed cooler than we expected and the water temp actually dropped 4 degrees from Saturday and didn't warm up until 2pm. It didn't matter as I got the only fish of the trip and I got it when the water temp went from 39 to 41 when we went into a creek arm. I would like to report the fish hit one of my jigs but it just wasn't meant to happen, it hit a clown colored Super Rogue suspending jerkbait, it was 18.75" and weighed an even 4lb, well the scales was going back and forth between 4lb 0oz and 3lb 15oz so we called it 4. We met up with some guys having a club tounrament but it ended with no one weighing in a fish, that lake is tough as the Tuesday night jackpot tournaments are usually won with 2 fish and there has never been a limit weighed in since they started them so I felt good that I got a decent fish, I just wish it would have hit a jig, next time!!
