Big Fish - Small Rod

Tried for a few minutes in my pond today for some bluegill. Tied a weighted nymph on 2' under a small ice cork. Was surprised when my cork shot down... and stayed down. This fella was on the other end. Water temps are still pretty cold, so he didn't put up near he fight that he could have. Still fun on my UL rod though!!

Nice catfish! One of the hardest-pulling fish I ever landed was a channel cat that I hooked with my lil 5' ultra light. What a battle
