Big Daddy Crappie Tubes

Im really liking the size of these tubes! Lately Ive been using bigger and bigger baits and this tubeis PERFECT! I don't like hollow body baits so these are solid bodies. For size comparison that puny thing in the middle is a standard 2" tube. Im rigging these with 2/0 and 3/0 hooks. First one is a blue thunder / chartreuse and the second is a real good color around here. I call it pearlple.

Rig those solid body tubes with a jig from a SWM bait modified to look like this



Pretty much snag proof in the local rivers I fish

I plan on tryin a few that way. I just don't think I'll be trolling fast enough to keep it horizontal.

Solid body tubes are the way to go! The pearlple almost looks too good to throw in the water..... like i need to eat it rather than the fish. Mmmm... taffy.

These Caught the most today! Blue thunder and a new combo i just invented... You prolly never heard of it, black n chartreuse. All Tipped with 4 to 5" minners. Also used black saltys for the first time. Really need to get y'all a pic of these things rigged! You'd croak the first time you fished with bait this big... For crappie atleast.
