Went fishing today - day started out at 45dF - cold spell rolled in after a week in the 70's.  Then it started raining.  I'm prepared with gortex & polartec.  Then an hour later it got colder.  We were putting our hands in the water to warm them up.  Then the rain turned into snow.  Then we got white out conditions - while paddling.  Couldn't see either side of the bank.  At that point it was time to call it a day & paddle a couple miles back to the take out.

Oh yeah thanks for the pictures. Guess my idea of a swim jig was different. Never used a weighted hook like that before. I used to crimp split shots to worm hooks to get them to ride hook up. But those are almost spoon esque and Otta put a nice/different action to the bait.
