Too windy to fish today, so my buddy and I visited a few fishing and discount stores. I found this thread in a discount store....5 @ 100 meter spools for $1.99. Of course when I saw them I thought "jigs" ! I think they will make great thread heads for hair jigs. Thread is a metalic and very strong. Looking for other uses for this thread...any ideas??

Do a minnow head jig , use only the thread to build up the body . Taper the body and clear coat it . Made those for years . Indistructable pan fish killers .

I agree with toad. The middle one would make a good minnow body imitation and the second one from the right would be a good buggy color for gill jigs. If the diameter is thin enough I'd like them to tie the whole jig.

the thread might look good for wrapping rods... if you do that kind of thing.
