Another nice crappie

Got out for 2 hours over the weekend. Love it that one of my hometown reservoirs has some quality crappie once again! Finally finding somewhat of a pattern/location for where and when they pass by....... at least to get a few here and there. Seined some baby bluegill from my pond and had one floating around while i was casting jigs. The crappie took the baby gill. This one went 14.5"

Thanks for the comments. Always looking for a little more time to spend on the shore casting. The fish are a bonus. Usually, i am really excited to see crappie over 10"..... this one surprised me and is the largest i have caught from the newer reservoir. Heck, ranks up there as one of my largest ever caught for me.

No fishy taste on the beer... after the first 3. Actually, there were only 3 anyway. Used ice to keep the fish cool, so the only logical place to set my beers. No toes were lost in the event either. Everyone's a winner!

No need to waste good ice That is a nice crappie and the bream looks good also. Look to fish the smaller waters.
