It's been too windy here to jig fish so I gave the crankbaits a try. The crappie are still in the more shallow end of the reservoir so I had to pull some shallow runners. I had 6 rods off the rear of the boat and a planer board off each side. I wound up with 21 keepers but I gave them to a friend. He has a job and can't fish every day. I felt so sorry for him. Lol

Thanks guys, the planers do good. I have to angle my rear poles up a little to give me room to let my planer boards out without getting tangled. I let 35 ft of line out then attach the planer board and let it out. When you get a fish on, the flag goes down to let you know. I get a higher percentage of fish with the planers, I guess because they're farther away from the boat.
