Not sure where this vise was manufactured. I thought it might be European because the base is similar in shape to a Veniard table clamp.

Led,have you ever gotten out all vintage stuff to try to tie a jig and see what these guys went through to make what we pretty much take for granted now?

Lionel Train Corp. had an Airex Division that made spinning reels back in the 1940s and '50s. There are American-made rods and lures made by Airex from that period. I wonder...

I play around with some of these things SB to see how they work. Its a little different - seems like most of the older stuff was built heavy. Heavy duty to last.

Thnx Pup. Would like to get a hold of an old Airex catalog - see what else they were doing....
