Here are some minnows I made since I had some already poured and painted, they are all 1/16oz and all have the same shad gray with black back paint scheme. The top jig has black bucktail on top with white bucktail on the bottom along with some silver flash and red and yellow hackle barbs that together make the tail. Shiner chenille makes the body and it is finished off with a white hackle collar. The middle jig has a tail made of black bucktail on the top and white bucktail on the bottom with some silver flash tied in. The body is done with flathead minnow chenille and finished off with a black hackle collar and a black thread neck. The bottom jig has a tail made from black and a little red hackle along with some silver flash and finished off with flathead minnow chenille. The bottom one is the one I don't like as I wanted the tail to extend a little further. On the vise it looked ok but when I finished it and took it off the vise I realized the tail was too short but I took the pic anyway.

They all should work just fine!!! Don't count the bottom one out there are times when that short tail will work better than a long one.
