Once upon a time I sold to a store that wanted the jigs to have a thicker look to the chenille body . All lures are either done as a work of art or personal preference . It's all good Bro.

You have been busy. Looks like you are tying each jig with a different chenille and getting the feel of what you like the best. Good work and soon you will find the look of a body that you will like over the others. You have a good selection of colors to go catch fish with.

Thanks for the compliments, I make a jig and I'm kind of proud of it till I look at the jigs others have made. The different chenilles blows my mind. But the hobby is a lot of fun, Not cheap but fun,
Stumphunter a couple of them jigs is not chenille the blue and black plaid and the green and black plaid is cord I seen at Hobby Lobby and bought and gave a try, I think it's made of nylon.

Nice assortment, you have a few bases covered there.

I am guilty of spending too much time on a single jig to make them 'pretty' and you are right that all white or all black will get you just as many fish at times.... but that would make for an awful boring tackle box. The red head/yellow body you have is another very simple combo that does well ALOT of time for crappie in my water - if i can find the fish in the first place.

That is the reason for the tight slim body, good job finding materials. We will have to take a trip to BPS sometime to look over all the different things they have. WOW it's like a candy store!!!!
