A couple Wooly Buggers

Both are tied on size 10 streamer hooks.  I like the look that bead-chain eyes give these.  I used Pheasant Tail Ice Dub for the body on the brown one, and Olive Brown Ice Dub for the body on the Olive WB.  4B hackle (new to me material) in appropriate colors.  These things ought to be killers!

That bead chain does make them look buggier. Very nice ties!

Never tied one with eyes, good idea. Really like the colors on the second one, speaks to me. I always tied mine weightless and used them on a tag loop with a crappie jig on the bottom. Almost had the rod pulled out of my hands a few times from an energetic Spotted Bass, they love em.

My first couple years fly fishing, I SWORE by Olive WB'ers with bead-chain eyes. I think the fist take them for Dragonfly nymphs. I would catch Hybrid sunnies and LMBs all the time on those. I need to get back into fishing them more.
