Got to get a fly rod and learn to use it . Like tying these ,they challenge me . Hope to make a couple trips there this summer .

Nice work. Looks like you have been bitten by the fly bug.
Been tying a few getting ready for the next few months. Those small ones are interesting to work on. I think 22 are the smallest I have tied. I don't need or use any smaller than a 18 and use 12 and 14 most times for my trout fishing but had to try tying a few. My eyes are way to far gone and my glasses are getting thicker.......

Got a box of 22's I tied just to see if I could do it. Even when fishing trout I have far more confidence in my small jigs and meaty streamers. Even a young man needs a threader to put those things on the tippet. Never caught anything on a fly that small. Feel like I'm wasting my time waiting for the fish tio find that tiny little thing. Seen guys have success but I've never had the patience to give them a reasonable chance. I have a hard enough time watching an indicator in stillwater trout fishing.. I do love to "float and fly" though with tiny jigs under an indicator.
