1st post/1st fluid bed

Greetings all from Colorado! I am just getting into painting and tying my own jigs, and figured this was a good place to join.
This weekend after doing some search, I desided to make my 1st powder paint fluid bed. below is the results of a total amateur... but was a fun project.

pretty simple list of parts.
2" PVC Female Threaded Adapter $1.30
2" PVC Male Threaded Adapter $1.99
2" PVC inside bushing Cap $1.35
Watts 1/4" Compression Valve $6.98
3/4" Tubing 1' foot $.51
3/4" x 3/4" 90 degree $1.99
Small screw clamps $1.49
3/4" washers laying around
Small tire valve, Free from Walmart
leftover silicone I had.

now I am just waiting on some jigs I ordered to start painting.

Most of the bed's Ive seen use an aquarium pump or the like,,are you going to supply with a compressor ?

yes I am actually using a small portable 12v compressor. "Slime Heavy-duty"
did a test on it last night and it works great. I am still testing different filter materials.

You might consider having a bigger bottom chamber - give you more volume to lift the paint.

I have some micro mesh material from McMaster Carr. Shoot me your snail mail if you want to try some. Have 3 different pore sizes.

Thanks all. as soon as my jigs arrive I will be a powder painting fool for a number of days.
side note... I picked up a toaster oven at Salvation Amry this week end for $6!!
