To wax or not to wax - that is the question. Some say you have to some say not.

I started out tying by reading some basic books that said to use wax so i did, which was running my thread over wax drippings from my mom's candle back then. Now i do not use it unless it is VERY finely chopped dubbing. With longer fiber dubbing mix, just twist around the thread and it stays in place and then pick or comb it out once the body is finished.
Could also look up how to use a dubbing loop. I created my own tool to do it and it is fairly simple. No wax and makes really solid bodies.
