1/16 Tube head jigs

I will tie some more shrimp on these using roughly the same pattern only with barred 1/4 rabbit with natural and some contrast colors. I will get the eyes up close to the hook eye exposing just a bit of the head. Medium wire hook , 3/0 wide gap & round eye fished under a sliding float for Specks and Reds.

Good idea to add minimal sink weight to a large hook float jig. Do you think turned eye hooks have an advantage?

I like the flat eyes but have not noticed a difference yet. I tied up a few of the heads with floating and bead eyes, and with or without antennae to wet test and check sink rates in the AM. I am going to tie up a few with mono weed guards as well.
